more than once (to deal in understatement), i've been called an apple fanboy. there's a certain contingency of the unconvinced (the ignorant?) that assume if you like apple's products, you must be blindly being led like a brainless sheep. but, of course, there's another contingency. that is, naturally, the contingency of the convinced: the people who have seen, time and time again, that there is simply no company that creates consistently amazing, innovative and inspiring products like apple. none.
the tradition continues today with the announcement of iphone 4.

recently, i had a conversation with a good friend (and regular blog reader) about my regular references to various names in the theological sphere of the emerging church conversation. he jokingly brought it up, but it was sort of a "ha ha...but seriously..." kind of conversation.in essence, he was referring to citing authors, bloggers and thinkers in various posts here on my blog such as tony jones,

quick editorial note: about 30 minutes ago, because of a series of events that you would have no interest in hearing about, i lost every single blog post from 2008... yes... i was freaking out. to say the very least.BUT...thanks to a backup from literally 10 minutes earlier (which was the first one i've done in at least 6 months...), i was able to salvage the posts. so, i didn't have to self mutilate

i'm excited to let you guys know that we got babybyrds.com up and running tonight! this will be the home for all things christen and ryan offspring: namely, lucy and olive (but we're sure there will be more to come down the road...). primarily, this will be the place that christen blogs, but i'll hop on from time to time. we'll be putting pictures, updates, video and whatever else seems to be entertaining
