today, we found out november’s track (better late than never, right?): the swell season’s falling slowly.

today, we found out october’s track (10 days into november…): rich mullins’ creed.

ok, i’ve gotta admit, when i first learned it was a rich mullins song, i was disappointed. i actually really, really like rich mullins the person…but i’m not too big of a fan of rich mullins’ music. it’s not even that i dislike rich mullins’ music, but more that i’m just not into it. also, among the list of songs that were up for the vote, there are so many great songs that didn’t make it.

but.

with all that said…

a couple days ago (hey, it’s been a busy couple days…), we found out september’s track: the beatles’ revolution.

while this is the first beatles track we’ve gotten in 2011 (we got a couple last year), i had a bit of an eye roll moment. obviously, they have great songs but there’s only so many times you can hear a beatles song covered until it sounds exactly the same every single time.
